SUMMARY:September 2022 Homebuying 101 (Virtual)
DESCRIPTION:Allston Brighton CDC is partnering with Cambridge Trust to hold a virtual Homebuying 101 class on the following dates: \nMonday\, September 26 @ 5-8PM\nTuesday\, September 27 @ 5-8PM\nWednesday\, September 28 @ 5-8PM \nEach class will be a Zoom Webinar.  \nHomebuying 101 is a 9-hour course\, covered over 3 sessions. Topics covered include: \n\nBudgeting\, Savings & Credit\nObtaining a Mortgage\nHousing Search\nThe Legal Aspects of Buying a Home\nHome Inspection\nHome Insurance\nDown Payment Assistance Programs\n\nGraduates of this course receive a certificate that grants access to down payment assistance\, Mass Housing Partnership’s ONE Mortgage\, MassHousing mortgages\, HUD mortgages\, home ownership lotteries\, and lender first time homebuyer mortgages. The certificate is accepted statewide for first time homebuyer education and is valid for 3 years. \nRegistration for the class is $50/person. By registering for the class\, you are registering for three (3) sessions. You must attend all three sessions in order to receive your certificate of completion. By taking this class you also have access to unlimited one-on-one pre-purchase counseling sessions at Allston Brighton CDC to assist you through your personal homebuying experience. \n\n    \n    \n    \n    \n        \n\n    \n\n    \n    \n    \n    \n    \n    \n\n\n\n\n    \n            \n          \n\n          \n          Registration is currently closed.
