Please join us in welcoming our new Community Planning Intern, Madeline Liberman! This summer, she will be updating the CDC’s development pipeline tracker and helping to visualize the pipeline data in a user-friendly and accessible way. Madeline is a rising junior at Barnard College from Reading, MA, studying Urban Studies and Anthropology. She is interested in community planning and development, data visualization, and GIS (Geographic Information Systems). In addition to her work at the CDC this summer, Madeline is assisting with the Undesign the Redline project at Barnard, an upcoming exhibit that will display stories of and solutions to redlining in Morningside Heights, Manhattan. She is also working with the Bronx Cooperative Development Initiative to analyze and visualize data related to community planning for economic democracy. Madeline loves music and concerts (in normal times) and is attempting to learn to forage!
