Article 80 Workshops

Do you care about the impacts of new housing development on public transportation and traffic? Or about the lack of green space? Want more affordable housing and homeownership opportunities for individuals and families to establish roots in the community?

Allston Brighton CDC hosts workshops on Article 80 and the Boston Zoning Code. In these sessions, you will learn how your input can have a lasting impact in areas such as public transit and traffic, lack of green space, affordable homes, and home ownership.  We also discuss letter writing, public meeting attendance, and more involved groups.

Impact Advisory Group Bootcamp

Impact Advisory Groups (IAGs) are an opportunity to have your voice heard on proposed development projects in your community. IAGs help shape these developments to best meet community needs and strengthen neighborhood assets. Our IAG Bootcamp’s provide residents and community stakeholders with information on the roles and responsibilities of an Impact Advisory Group, and how to get involved with the process.
