Homebuying 102: Homebuying Assistance

This workshop goes in-depth into the assistance programs available in Massachusetts to help first time homebuyers purchase a home. Answers to questions such as what programs are available, who is eligible, how to apply for and layer programs will be explored. HB 102 is co-presented by mortgage officers with extensive experience working with first-time homebuyers and helping them access assistance funds and mortgages through MassHousing, Massachusetts Housing Partnership, and more. This gives ABCDC the ability to offer the most current information about eligibility requirements and the application process for participants who register for this monthly virtual workshop. Some programs discussed will be Affordable Homeownership, MassHousing’s second mortgages, City of Boston assistance, and others.
