To amplify the voices of those who are being impacted by rising rents and displacement from the neighborhood, and to recognize those fighting for more affordable housing and tenant protections, Allston Brighton CDC’s Affordable Housing Action Committee is launching the Homes We Can Afford campaign, a new initiative to increase visibility about how housing affects the diverse communities that make up Allston Brighton!

The launch of the Homes We Can Afford campaign features a micro-doc which shares the stories of three residents who are fighting to stay in the neighborhood, as well as profiles of community residents and stakeholders sharing why more homes we can afford in Allston Brighton is important to them. We would also like to give a special thank you to Wendy Schiller from our Affordable Housing Action Committee for being a thought partner and leader on this campaign!
