PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Week long camps during school vacations and summer months. Includes on and off-ice activities across the Boston Landing Campus! Our camps feature 2 on-ice sessions in the morning and afternoon. The morning portion will focus on skill development, while the afternoon skates will typically involve a scrimmage or other small area games for campers to apply the skills they learned in the morning. This camp will cover puck control, creating scoring chances, defensive play, how to win corner battles, puck retrieval, break-out passes, defending one on ones and odd-man rushes, board play, closing the gap, shooting with a purpose, puck clears, defense skating, body positioning, and much more.
The clinic will also include skating skills for skaters who want to work on their edge quality, control, transitions, and power skating. After our on-ice sessions, we will head to the state-of-the-art and one of the largest track and field complexes in the world, the TRACK at new balance, where we will play games throughout the week such as kickball, soccer, tag, dodgeball, wiffle ball and more. Campers will also have individual and group time throughout the day. The campers will be introduced to stretching, off-ice agility, ladder footwork, core training, and other wellness information. Other activities include bowling at American Flatbread & free time at Action Athletics. Food will be available for purchase each day of camp, but campers are permitted to bring their own food (Peanut Aware Facility).

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Warrior Ice Arena is excited to offer our NEW Warrior Recreational Camp! Just like our hockey camps – all the fun, but something for everyone! Campers will spend their days doing activities across the Boston Landing Campus. Our camp will feature 1 on-ice session, plus various games, activities, and crafts throughout campus! Each week will have its own distinct theme, and daily programming during that week will be tailored to align with that theme.

Youth Learn to Row Sweeps Summer (June- August)

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Learn to Row Sweeps is an introductory non-competitive course, where rowers age 12-18 have a chance to try the sport of rowing in a fun and safe environment. They will learn rowing terminology, learn how to handle the equipment, and develop a basic set of rowing skills. Training will take place on our 12-person training catamarans. Sweep rowing is rowing in a boat with other rowers. Sweep rowers hold one oar with both hands.
Registration is $560 per participant per week. Prerequisites: None. All participants are required to have a valid Swim Test on file. Lifejackets are available for use.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Youth Summer Learn to Scull is for boys and girls ages 12-18 years who have not rowed before, or who participated a previous session of Learn to Row but have never been sculled (rowing in a single rowing shell with an oar in each hand, instead of in a boat with other rowers using both hands on the same oar). This is an introductory course where kids try the sport of rowing in a fun and safe environment. They will learn rowing terminology, learn to handle equipment and develop a basic set of rowing skills. Training will take place in flat, stable singles.
Registration is $560 per participant per week. Prerequisites: None. All participants are required to have a valid Swim Test on file. Lifejackets are available for use.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This class will teach and develop fundamentals of the game of lacrosse. There will be an emphasis on basic skills: learning to pass, catch & scoop through small group instruction with various drills and game situations. This course is designed to provide the skills necessary to appreciate the game of lacrosse. Open to youth ages 5 to 13.
Fencing In The Park (July- August)
WHEN: Tuesdays and Thursdays (choose 1) from July 21st through August 20th, 5:30pm-6:45pm
WHERE: Penniman Road Play Area, in Allston, on the basketball court
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Get outside and try something new this summer! Learn to fence with professional coaches from Boston Fencing Club. Your child will take part in the safe, exciting sport through games, teamwork exercises, and drills. This program will help build confidence, athleticism, and teamwork.
Open to Allston Brighton residents or kids enrolled in A-B schools who are entering 2nd-4th grade. Classes will meet at Penniman Road Play Area in Allston. Each student can choose Tuesday or Thursday session. Program is free of charge, but spaces are limited so registration is required. Please only register if you plan to join us for the duration of the 5-week program.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Learn to fence in a safe and fun environment with professional Safe Sport Certified coaches! Sessions focus on teaching the basics of fencing footwork, technique, and tactics, using drills and games that enhance students’ hand eye coordination, athleticism, and discipline.

STEM on Strip - Fencing (July)

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: STEM on Strip is a new week-long summer enrichment program launching this July in Boston. Organized by DoGood, hosted by Boston Fencing Club, and with STEM curriculum provided by Cords for a Cause, this pilot program gives area middle school students the opportunity to experience both fencing and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). Part of each day will be dedicated to learning saber fencing with real fencing equipment and electrical scoring, while the other part of each day will include STEM based games and activities, so students will be working their bodies and their minds! The program is entirely free and lunch will be provided.
