Carmen Peña, Resident Services Manager at our All Bright Community Center, was awarded by the Black and Latino Legislative Caucus as a Latino Excellence on the Hill Honoree! Carmen was recognized for her work as a distinguished leader in the Latino community in the Great Hall at the Massachusetts State House surrounded by peers. Thank you to Representative Kevin Honan for nominating Carmen for this award! 

In the year Carmen has been at Allston Brighton CDC, she has done instrumental work connecting with residents, increasing program offerings and attendance. Carmen gracefully transitioned into the manager position in October 2024 and has already become integral to the ABCDC Resident community. She is a true leader, and we could not be happier about her recognition! 

Prior to joining ABCDC, Carmen had over ten years of experience in community work, outreach, and social services. We are so grateful for her expertise and dedication to our community.
