At Allston Brighton CDC, we know that home means more than housing; it means community, opportunity, and belonging. This Giving Tuesday, we are excited to share a first look inside our newest development, Allston Senior Housing at the Hill.

Over the next few years, this site will be transformed into a 49-unit permanently affordable elderly housing development that connects residents to the supportive services offered in the adaptive reuse and historic preservation of the Hill Memorial Baptist Church. These new homes will feature shared amenities, including a community room, fitness room, kitchen, library, counseling suites, and offices for staff.

The development acknowledges the important connections between the role of the historic property within the North Allston neighborhood as a neighborhood landmark while welcoming new senior residents to the property.
