We would like to say good luck to our friend and longtime colleague, Meghan Monson, as she transitions out of her role as Homeownership and Counseling Manager and moves on to attend graduate school in the fall. Meghan joined the CDC team in 2018 as our Homeownership Program Coordinator and was promoted to program Manager in 2021. She has proven herself to be an asset to the Allston Brighton community and a leader in the field of homeownership education. During Meghan’s time at the CDC, she has not only drastically increased the number of first-time homebuyers that receive education and counseling, but has forged countless new partnership across the Commonwealth to ensure that our homeownership program will remain strong for years to come. We would like to thank Meghan for her nearly 6 years of hard work and dedication to this role!
Meghan will continue to stay on staff at ABCDC until July of this year and will be supporting the transition of her role to our new Homeownership and Counseling Manager, Jin Min Lee (she/her/hers).
Jin Min has lived in Boston the majority of her adult life and is a graduate of ABCDC’s Homebuyer 101 class who became a first-time, first-generation homeowner in 2013. Since graduating from Wellesley College, Jin Min has worked in direct service, consulting, and management roles in community- and faith-based nonprofits in the Boston area. Throughout her career, she has sought to build bridges of access and relationship between communities of resource and those of need. Her passion lies in addressing systemic injustices, particularly those affecting communities of color and immigrants. Jin Min tries to travel as much as she can, voraciously listens to books and podcasts, and loves to cook and create. We would like to welcome Jin Min to ABCDC and look forward to implanting her new ideas to expand this program.
