Meet our Community Ambassador, Tara! Tara is originally from Nepal and has lived in Brighton since 2013. Tara graduated from Tribhuvan University with PhD degree in Economics (Decentralization and Poverty Reduction in Nepal). He worked at Tribhuvan University as a lecturer and was involved in the community as a social worker for educational awareness, financial literacy through cooperative institutions, and environmental issues.

Tara joined ABCDC as an Ambassador in 2017 /2018. He enjoyed working with the team in the community for neighborhood stabilization and affordable housing programs. He is excited to be back working with us!

He is interested in helping the community through financial literacy, education awareness, affordable housing, and the environment. Tara loves walking, bicycling, reading books, spirituality, mindfulness, and working on issues related to social and economic inequality.
