ABCDC is excited to welcome Patricia Núñez-Salas from the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center to our Board of Directors! We recently talked to her to get her feedback on what it means to be a Board member at the ABCDC.

How long have you lived in Allston Brighton?
I have been living in this neighborhood for 15 years with my family.

Why did you decide to join the ABCDC Board of Directors?
I decided to join ABCDC Board of Directors because I would like to help this organization with my knowledge and experiences if they are needed.

What are you most excited about for your new position?
That it allows me to learn more about my neighborhood.

What’s your favorite thing about in the neighborhood?
One of my favorite things in my neighborhood is that I am close to many neighborhoods. It has a strategic geographic ubication and has many services around it, access to public transportation, subways, and the commuter rail.

We can’t wait to use Patricia’s knowledge to continue to improve the neighborhood!
