We would like to say good luck to our colleague, Regina Fink, as she transitions out of her role as Resident Services Coordinator on November 1st. Regina has been an asset to our Resident Services team and has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of residents across Allston Brighton. She will be taking on a new role as the Director of Constituent Services for Massachusetts State Senator William Brownsberger, whose district includes both Allston and Brighton. We are excited to continue working with her in this new position!
We are also excited to announce that our new Resident Services Manager, Carmen Peña (she/her/hers), will join the ABCDC staff on October 31st! Carmen, originally from the Dominican Republic, arrived in the City of Boston in the fall of 1996, where she attended school and has lived ever since. Fast-forward to today: Carmen is the Co-founder of La Parada Dominican Kitchen, a Certified Community Health Worker, and an active participant in the Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement (MOIA), Immigrant Lead Boston initiative. Carmen has over ten years of experience in community work, outreach, and social services.
She is passionate about her work including volunteering and collaborating with non-profit and for-profit institutions on activities that benefit the community, especially single mothers with young children and young girls.
