Working together, building community

Please join us in welcoming the new member of our Board of Directors, Jeffrey Jobson (he/him/his). Jeffrey is an AVP Branch Manager for HarborOne Bank. He has over 20 years of experience in the Boston banking industry.  During his career, he has built a reputation for operational excellence, innovative strategic thinking, working with the highest level of integrity and a deep and passionate commitment to the community.

He began his career at Fleet Bank in year 2000 as a teller.  He quickly he moved up the ranks to a Personal Representative.  This is when Jeffrey learned he had a direct impact in the lives of many customers by uncovering the needs with bank solutions.

In 2005, Jeffrey moved to Santander Bank as a Personal Banking Rep. in the Allston and Brighton area.  Here he was responsible for reaching quarterly goals.  He also took the responsibility of Branch Investment and Consumer Loan Captain.   He trained and coached co-workers on policies, procedure, and best practices.  The rewarding part for Jeffrey was the community involvement aspect.  He loved going to and directly meeting with the public in underserved communities where he grew up, in Boston.  He met many times at Halfway homes and shelters to educate the residents about important topics like banking and credit building.  Along with the Financial Literacy programs, Jeffrey also attended every back-to-school season possible.  Being bi-lingual put him in front of a large group of international students and able to communicate clearly in their native language, Spanish.  He never lost focus of the business owners in Allston and Brighton area.  Working closely with them, he obtained lending whenever possible and needed.

In 2022, Jeffrey joined HarborOne Bank as an AVP Branch Manager.  Here, he found the liberty and joy of providing tailored financial programs with prestige organizations in Boston.  He has facilitated programs with residents of both the Brookline housing authority and Boston Housing authority.  Other organizations he has worked with were Camp Harborview and West End house boys and girls club. His exultation is receiving positive feedback of how he helped others achieve their personal or business goals.

In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, scuba diving, celebratory gatherings, and cooking.
