Please join us in welcoming our summer interns from schools across the city! These positions allow ABCDC staff to gather new perspectives from students, while also providing these young professionals with valuable hands-on experience in the nonprofit field. Our interns have been invaluable members of our team for the last several weeks and we can’t wait to continue working with them throughout the summer.

Joanna Lin
Outreach Intern

Joanna Lin has been living in Allston-Brighton for over a decade. Her years here are filled with memories of exploiting Rogers Park for its steep slopes for sledding and sandy fields for softball and chasing a thrill at Smith Park’s bicycle ramps and basketball courts. These activities have yet to cease while she studies social theory and statistics at Harvard College. Joanna is deeply invested in understanding the right to housing and its determinants in America through studying the legal system it operates under and listening to the stories that Allston-Brighton residents share. She is excited to further pursue this cause at ABCDC.

Eytan Ko
Resident Services Intern

Eytan is a high-school senior at Concord Academy from Brookline, Massachusetts. Driven by his own family’s immigrant story, Eytan is a deeply invested community advocate. At the All Bright Community Center, Eytan can be found designing event flyers, delivering newsletters, assisting Carmen with her various tasks, and playing the community piano. In his free time, he enjoys playing and teaching music, rock climbing, and spending time with his grandparents.

Elmyre Buisson
Resident Services Intern

Elmyre recently graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries with a minor in psychology. This fall, she will be entering into a masters program in Mental Health Counseling at Boston College. She is excited to begin her role as a Resident Services Intern and she can’t wait to start meeting residents and providing support.
