Allston Brighton Community Development Corporation

Working together, building community

Please join us in welcoming back Rachel Regis as our new Deputy Director! Rachel was the Resident Services Manager at ABCDC for over two years and worked to greatly increase the impact and number of programs being offered at the All Bright Community Center. As our new Deputy Director, Rachel will support the expansion of ABCDC’s supportive services and help coordinate the variety of activities now going on at ABCDC.

Rachel is a lifelong resident of Boston. She graduated from Johnson & Wales University with her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a Concentration in Psychology and earned her Paralegal Certificate from Curry College soon after. Prior to her work at the CDC, she worked at Rosie’s Place providing direct services to poor and homeless women as the Assistant Advocacy Manager and for the Department of Neighborhood Development in the Supportive Housing Division. Rachel has held many roles working in the non-profit sector providing direct support to individuals and families from marginalized populations.

Rachel speaks Haitian Creole, loves basketball, reading, writing, and is very passionate about social justice, human rights and affordable housing. She is excited to be back with the CDC and bring her professional experiences to the Allston Brighton neighborhood!
